About

Kerri Kares, Inc. is an international charity organization that helps children living in poverty with food, shelter, education, health services, and self-assurance.

Karri Kares was founded in 2018 by Marvine Innis and Kerri-Ann Innis, with a mission to help those that are underserved and impoverished with crucial supplies that will foster their education and overall well-being.

Each year the organization holds an Annual Back2School Drive to help 100 kids in Marvine’s hometown of the St. John in the Caribbean Island of Barbados. Through the Back2School Drive, kids are supplied with brand new backpacks filled with composition books, paper, pencils, pens, crayons, colored pencils, sharpeners, rulers and folders.

The back to school event is a part of a nationwide effort to not only help those in our local communities, but to extend a helping hand to those abroad. The supplies are made possible through fundraisers, donations and corporate sponsorships.

Marvine’s giving heart extends beyond her work at Kerri Kares. She previously held a position as director of her local Kiwanis Club. The position enabled her to be involved in numerous activities such feeding the homeless, singing to sick children for the holidays, visiting nursing homes, and mentoring to young adults.
